sailing by - rates dates and booking

please note - we only take dogs in winter months - please ask.

the cottage is for rent from saturday to saturday; from 3pm on day of arrival to 10am on the departure day. electricity & water are included, so are towels and bed linen. no smoking please, and no four[or more]-legged freinds without prior consent [certain times of the year, & additional charges would apply]. a deposit of 1/3rd of the total rental is required to confirm your rental.

the balance, plus a returnable £100 damage and cleaning deposit, is due 6 weeks before your day of arrival. the deposit will be returned to you within 10 working days of departure.

maximum occupancy is four people. due to the age & layout of the building we regret that it may be impractical for toddlers and people with walking disabilities please call us to discuss this before booking if not sure.

please confirm the number of people that will be staying together with their names and ages if under 16.

cars can be unloaded directly outside Sailing By [no steps involved], nearest car parks are the harbour [Sloop Inn], the Island, [5 mins walk], & Barnoon [5 mins walk]. a map of car parks and directions will be sent out, together with arrangements for picking up the keys, when we receive your balancing payment for the rental.

Sailing By is equipped with:

Ground floor - Kitchen / Dining area. electric underfloor heating, electric ceramic hob, fan-assisted oven, microwave oven, built in fridge with ice compartment, open fireplace, 15L direct hot water heater, radio, iron & board, clother airer.

First floor - living room. electric warm air 'log-burning' stove, two-seater sofa-bed with sprung mattress, giant bean-bag, wide-screen TV with freeview box and DVD/CD player.

Second floor - Bathroom. electric heated towel-rail, electric shower cubicle, toilet, sink, shaver point. Second floor - Bedroom. electric oil-filled radiator, double bed, built-in cupboard, bedside cupboards, hairdryer.

lamps in living room and bedroom are dimmable. sash-windows open top and bottom.
